Prism coaches consider the identification, understanding, and use of cultural influences as a strength for leaders in teambuilding and leadership. Furthermore, we help individuals navigate the complexities within institutions that may not be organized to respect diverse forms of cultural wisdom.

In contrast to consulting, Prism coaches recognize the client as the expert who has the ability to create appropriate solutions and strategies to achieve goals. Prism coaches partner with clients to identify core values, assets, skills, and experiences, including those of cultural and spiritual nature, in order to achieve identified goals.

Prism Coaching's expertise is asking insightful questions, eliciting values and assets, illuminating the client's assumptions, advocating for the client's goals and vision, being the client's ally, and seeing the client's best self as a whole human being (culturally, spiritually, physically, and historically). We are curious on behalf of our clients. How do their experiences, history, and culture affect them? In partnership with the client, we create a safe, confidential space in which the client can reflect, learn, share triumphs and defeats, face fears, explore new perspectives, discuss underlying beliefs, and ultimately determine next steps and actions.
